Blue Mountains

Blue Mountains

Just on the border of Sydney’s metropolitan area lays the beautiful Blue Mountains, a perfect destination for the heights of escapism. Filled with the scent of eucalyptus trees, and a fog of blue water vapour and dust particles, the Blue Mountains really do appear to be blue in colour. While the natural elements of this enticing get away are the initial appeal, the Blue Mountains offer so much to see and do.  There are a range of discovery walks and bush walks to be taken, a number of free attractions such as the Three Sisters, Eagle View Escape and the Spring Open Gardens.

As you enter the town of Wentworth Falls, you’ll get your first real experience of the Blue Mountains scenery. The view of the south uncovers the majestic Jamison Valley. Check out the droplets from the 300 meter drop which gives the town its name at Falls Reserve, also a starting point of walking tracks which goes into the magnificent Valley of the Waters with rainforests, waterfalls, gorges and woodlands.

Explore Sublime Point, a sharp triangular rock formation south of Leura where you will come across a dramatic lookup with perpendicular cliffs on each side as you take pleasure in the tranquil nature.

The quaint town of Leura in the heart of the Blue Mountains is home to boutique stores, an infamous lollie shop and some delicious baked goods. Whether it’s a fun filled family vacation or a romantic get a way in the Echo Point Villa, the Blue Mountains is a top destination for a reason! With so much to do at the Blue Mountains, check out their website to explore the many adventure activities, attractions and experiences all on offer from the local businesses within the Blue Mountains
